CHC33015: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
The course allows specialization in Aged Care. It will help you understand how to care for the elderly people, work in an aged care facility, supervise fellow workers, be a professional caring companion and provide in-home care.
This course covers the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting also who follow an individualized plan to provide person-centered support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.
Students will complete 7 core units, 6 elective units, making a total of 13 units. This includes a 6-month theory course in Dhaka, Bangladesh including a 1-month internship in Australia. Once internship is complete, candidates will be awarded complete certificates from Charlton Brown, Australia. Students for admission are required to appear for Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) online test. The results of the LLN test will determine eligibility.
Objectives of Program
The course is a licensed programme of the Government of Australia under TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training). The theory portion is going to be done at our centre, Dhaka and the one month internship has to be done in Australia. CARE GIVER course at AKKHT would be a ONE STOP career centre for any student in Bangladesh.

- Age must be above 18 years.
- Completed at least HSC/O Level degree.
- Good command of the English Language.
- Must pass LLN Examination
