Entry

Nurses who have already received their diploma or degree and currently employed in recognized health care delivery institutions across Bangladesh are enrolled into the program. Classes are held at the partnering hospital to ensure ready participation of nurses and to complement the work schedule of participants. Each batch comprises of 25 nurses, and is scheduled 3 days per week for 2 hours per day.

Prior to enrolling in the program, nurses of a partnering hospital are engaged in an assessment test, both written and oral, to benchmark their knowledge base, language proficiency, and communication skill, and the NBP curriculum is customized to the needs of participating nurses at the partner hospital. A benchmarking mock test is conducted near the end of program to assess gaps before participating nurses take their final certification exam.
