THE KEY FEATURES OF THE NURSING BRIDGE PROGRAM
- It is designed specifically for qualified, practicing nurses i.e. nurses who have already completed their diploma or degree courses and who wish to raise their practice level to western standards.
- It is not a formal nursing program since it does not lead to the award of a degree or diploma. It is not meant for people who are still studying nursing. Only graduates can participate.
- It is a Continuing Education Program that helps nurses comes at par with their global counterparts in terms of knowledge and skills, keeping the practical work environment in mind.
- It lasts around 6-12 months (depending upon the frequency of classes) and leads to the award of a certificate of recognition. This certificate is not a degree of diploma and hence does not require approval from Bangladesh Nursing Council.
